Originally founded as a collaboration between a beverage connoisseur and an artisan baker, KopiChaDim has now evolved under the sole leadership of Yan Chen, who brings her passion for beverages and her love of Malaysian heritage to every product.

At KopiChaDim, we blend the flavors of South East Asia with London’s modern palette, creating a nostalgic yet fresh experience. Inspired by the traditional coffee shops of Malaysia, where locals gather to enjoy the best food and drinks, we offer pre-packaged Kopi and Teh Tarik that capture the essence of these flavors, now available for you to enjoy at home.
While we’ve transitioned from a full coffee and tea house to offering pre-packaged beverages, our mission remains the same: to bring you the comforting flavors of Malaysia, no matter where you are. Meet Yan Chen: The Heart Behind KopiChaDim
Yan Chen, the new sole owner of KopiChaDim, is a true beverage connoisseur with a passion for creating drinks that connect people and evoke memories. Born and raised in London with deep Malaysian roots, Yan has always found a sense of home through food and beverages. Missing the flavors of Malaysia, she discovered that authentic tastes could bring back connections to her heritage and recreate special moments from the past.
Before taking the reins at KopiChaDim, Yan founded Bubblee, a fresh and exciting bubble tea brand specializing in fresh fruit teas and alcoholic tea blends. With a presence in pop-up markets across London from Old Street to King’s Cross, Bubblee became a hit at large foodie events and private gatherings. Through her journey, Yan tapped into local produce, creating sustainable and innovative drink options that captured the spirit of fun and freshness.
Yan's passion extends beyond just flavors—she thrives on blending the physical experience with the sensory, creating products that can transport people to a time, place, or memory. Whether it's through the nostalgia of a beloved drink like iced Milo or the comfort of kaya toast, Yan’s goal is to infuse her creations with the feeling of home and community.
